We Want InThe Outlawz
We Want In
1 Nation / Gold Dust Media
2008

Having been part of over 60 million record sales it's hard to believe that The Outlawz have never put a record out on a major label. Now signed with Young Bucks independent venture, Cashville Records, the Lawz are back with a message to the majors that they want their deserved slice of the major industry money.
The album opens with the title track "We Want In" a track that spits messages to a who's who of Moguls in Hip Hop "I need that Roc-A-Fella money tell Jigga we want in, I need that Cash Money paper tell Baby we want in...". The majority of "We Want In" flows with the same theme with lyrics that are relevant to the titles message along with tracks that show the struggle the Lawz have had since the passing of their mentor almost 12 years ago and "Take it Off" which shows a softer side featuring a RnB hook from Keion.
Other features come from Hip Hop Vet and label mate C-Bo, J-Bo, Pimptation. Maserati Rick & Nutt-So appear on the albums finale 'It's My Turn' which ends "We Want In" nicely.
"We Want In" is some of the best work the Outlawz have put out and shows how far these independent vetrans have came, EDI, Kastro, Noble and latest partner Stormey will hit the streets globally with this offering. An album that should make labels pay attention and guaranteed to please fans old and new , after years of grinding no one can deny the Outlawz their time to shine.
