The 2007 BET Award nominations have been announced with TI leading the way with 9 nominations with artists Lil Wayne (7, Kanye West (6), Common (5), Jay Z (4), Luda and 50 Cent (3) all receiving multiple nominations.

The "I Am Hip-Hop" award will go to Pioneering rap artist KRS One. Lil Wayne, Kanye West, TI, Jay Z and Common all go head to head in the MVP of the year and up for best production are Kanye West, Swizz Beatz, Polow Da Don, Timbaland & Mannie Fresh.

For the 2nd year in a row BET will be giving out a "Best International Act" award teaming up with MTV Base and BBC 1Xtra with the winner being announced on MTV and 1Xtra on 1st October up for nomination are Dizzee Rascal, JME, Kano, Klashnekoff, Lethal B & Wiley.
