After coming into the game on the now classic 'Welcome To Wolftown' album by Villains back in 2000, as well as being one half of rap crew Vicious Circle.
10Shott has been working hard carving his name and has been tipped as 'one to watch' within the UK Rap scene.

As a member of the legendary crew Vicious Circle you achieved so much with a 5/5 review for your album in HHC and then more recently voted number 29 in the best 50 UK Rap albums of all time in HHC. What ever happened to Vicious Circle? Did you split up? Is that why you went solo?

Vicious Circle never split up, infact we have already written half of the next V.C album. I felt I was writing allot of material and I needed to put it out as a solo artist. Size 8 has finished his new mixtape "2 seconds round the corner" and features all over my mixtape and album, were like brothers...we will never split up!!

In my opinion 'Ghetto Brick Road' is one of the best mixtapes ever to drop from a UK Hip-Hop artist. With it being thirty tracks deep with some amazing flows how long did it actually take to record this project?

Bless for that!!.....The recording was the longest thing....it was written in no time...it could have been recorded in a week flat... but due to things like working a 9 to 5 and Wolftown's busy roster. It took a couple of months.

Mixtapes have been big for you in the way of promotion, with Late & Tricksta putting you on some mixes hosted by a whole string of big US names including Chamillionaire, Trae, Red Café, J Hood (D'Block), St. Laz, Dino West (No Limit) and Geolani. Do you feel that mixtapes have been integral to getting your name out?

Most certainly...the buzz I have created and the interest I've attracted has solely been off the back of the "Ghetto Brick Road mixtape"...I was signed to Zy records when they heard the mixtape and saw me perform live!!!!

So the new single 'Memory Blank' is out now on promo. I had the pleasure of receiving the single and a DVD of the video. When can we expect to see this video on our TV screens and who actually directed & produced the video?

The video will be played in December 07, which was directed and produced by Zy Records

The production on the track is really well-rounded. Who produced the track?
Myself and Dave West produced the track!!!

So tell us about your new label Zy Records. Is this your own label?
No... Zy Records is a label I have signed with, which is owned by Guy tanway

So you got an album 'A Di Real' planned for release in February 20008. What can we expect from your solo debut album?
U can expect a FRESH, UNIQUE, BIGG QUALITY album (musically and lyrically)... It's like a BUFFET... there is something on there everyone can nibble on... lol

Will there be a tour to promote the album?
Yes most certainly, there will be more details posted on my myspace.

How would you describe your musical style? Would you say you were UK Hip-Hop artist or a Grime artist, or do you just consider yourself as an urban artist?
I am a UK artist with a squeeze of everything on top!!

So when is the single 'Memory Blank' out and what shops can you get it from?
29th of January 2008...digital download only. Available from all quality download sites.

So after 'Memory Blank' do you have any more singles/videos planned?
Yes we have just shott the second video called "Tin Soldiers", which is an animated video which will be out around the same time as "Memory Blank"

So what are your main aims for 2008?
Get that paper, tour the globe, release the second album, finish recording the third one and finish writing the fourth! Watch out "WORLD". Here I come!!!
