Have you released any music videos? Havent released any music videos yet just for timing and money vs. quality issues its like for the amount of promotion ive done people are expecting a certain calibur video from me plus I don’t wanna just do a video to have a video so its like be patient.
What has the response been like to your music in your hometown? My home town is the streets of uptown Bronx and The Streets of London so far the response is like keep going…. Keep going. People feel me like. I am one of the people.
Being independent can be a grind! How are you finding it? Its suicide very very slowly but what isn’t. Im just working towards my rest in piece date trying to bring it closer rather than push it away if u get what I mean.
What are your thoughts on digital distribution? Digital distribution is good for independent labels/artist to gather attention maybe even some money. But I am a strong believer that people still want to go to the store and pick up that classic album look through the booklet. It just has to be real enough timeless enough I guess. That’s what the fuck im trying to do I tell you that much lol.
Do you have an agent for bookings/tours? Currently seeking… I have been doing all myself for a min. but its like my music is forcing me to be in more than one place at a time. So I need someone to help handle bookings so someone efficient holla at me….
Have you had much DJ support? Radio play? Mixtape features? Been getting play on 279’s on Choice fm, Fusion Radio, Twin B likes my stuff. Featured on Trevor Nelsons Lick show on Mtv 2 years ago. Featured on Mike Glc’s new album, Triple Darkness group Phalanx Heresy’s album. Dj limelight mixtape. Dj Illexx and who ever comes at me with the right idea/time.
What subject matters do you cover in your lyrics? I try to cover what I go through, seen, done, think about, feel. I try to keep the lyrics very very close to my heart so I am very sensitive about my music cause lyrically it’s a representation of me.
Tell us a bit about your style. I don’t know about my style it’s just what ever the beat moves me too. Like I just try match the beat wit me and it comes out. Im just the medium in this shit I think….
Outside of music how do relax? It sounds fucked but this interview is relaxing… I chill wit my girl in my opinion but she says im all ways working. Smoke weed??? Writing rhymes is relaxing sometimes till I start talking bout some shit that’s disturbing me. I don’t know I am wound very tight right now I got so much I want to share with people and I never feel like I am worthy so im always working to be me I guess I will relax really later.
What can people expect from you in the near future? More real music. Expect me to grow and get better or worse respectively. But it will always be real….
