You started your career as part of a Funk Band Trey Lewd how did that come about?
Actually I started writing on my own but I wrote songs for the artist trey lewd george clintons son
Through working with his son in Trey Lewd you came to work with legendary George Clinton, what was that like for you It was the shit george is a geuinus and i came up on parliment its a part of the west coast sound and his son is dope 2
What made you get in to production Well I started playing piano and whn the drum machine got big and drums and piano go togther and it was a a wrap samplin goes along with the territory technogly is the shit these days
Working with Def Jef you both produced a track for Shaq in the early 90's did this help kick start your career Yes man we went platinum my first time going platinum it was a honor producing shaq a legend and homie and working with my hime def jef
You linked up with Snoop whilst he was on No Limit, how did you come to get hooked up with him? We met thru a mutaul homie shawn dogg my nigga and the rest just came thru our talents combinig 2 make history and i was just working on perfecting my craft and looking for the next big project
What was working with Snoop like? Kool he is a good nigga and easy and fun 2 work with we getdown whn we got in the lab but he worked hard i can say that much
For those who have never heard a Meech Wells produced track how would you describe your sound? Still a gee thang by snoop dogg is my signature sound for the late ninetys now u can hear the new west flava on my myspace page myspace.com/tharealmeechwells
What are your tools of choice for producing?
I use the mpc 3000 and plug ins and pro tools
How does a typical beat come together? I usually come up with the beat first then add the bassline or piano which ever comes 2 mind first
Why did you decide to start "The New West World Order" series Too help the state of west coast music in the indusrty its time for the west 2 do the thing but we need 2 hear new flava
How was volume 1 recieved by people
People loved it we had over 70 thousand downloads and got people still asking about it

Outside of the "The New West World Order" album what else are you doing? Working on music for a reality show on the food network and writing for some name artist i rather not name and some more tv placements on hbo latelty
I read you were in negotiations with a major label, is there any updates there. Just talking 2 a few we will see we got a call back from a major exec so i know we hot
As an independent you have a huge pressence and your name is out there, what advice would you have for other independent and new artists / producers to marketing themselves?
Get on the interviews and stay working and promoting and dropping shit online for free download 2 get your presense out there and then let your talent do the rest
