We don't hear many rappers coming out of Pittsburgh what's the hip hop scene like there?
Its very up and coming there are a couple of people from Pittsburgh that were recently signed so you should be hearing from us before you know it. The scene here is getting better but its not popping the way it should be!
Having heard some of your music you sound like a conscious rapper and keep away from the money and "bling" side of the industry, how would you describe your style?
Im definately a breath of freshness. I dont really talk about money and jewelry because im poor..lol But even if I did have money I still wouldnt talk about it. I try to make music that is timeless so people can listen to my stuff 5 years from now and it will still be relevant. These other cats are just trendy after a year passes people wont be feelin those same songs because there will be some other trend out and another clone to take there place in the game. My style is straight foward minimal punches.
What are your views on the rap industry at the moment?
Its very sad I think people are really hurting out here and they try to overcompensate for there pain by talking about how much money they haveand how great things are but i think when these Mc's are by themselves they are confused.
What inspires you to write?
Its my natural form of expression whatever Im felling if its worth saying I'll make a song about it.
